STRATEGI ADAPTASI DAN MITIGASI PETANI PEREMPUAN TERHDAP PERUBAHAN IKLIM DI KABUPATEN BOJONEGORO (STUDI DI DESA BULU, KECAMATAN BALEN, JAWA TIMUR)
Abstract
Perubahan iklim berdampak ekstrim pada kegiatan pertanian dan kelangsungan hidup petani kecil, khususnya petani perempuan yang lebih rentan. Akibatnya, diperlukan tindakan untuk mengatasi efek perubahan iklim. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi adaptasi dan mitigasi petani perempuan berskala kecil terhadap perubahan iklim. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Sebanyak 25 petani perempuan berskala kecil dipilih sebagai informan. Petani perempuan berskala kecil menggunakan strategi adaptasi seperti adaptasi di lahan pertanian, diversifikasi di luar pertanian, diversifikasi peternakan, pemanfaatan sistem pengetahuan adat (IKS), pemanfaatan modal sosial dan migrasi. Sementara itu, untuk mengurangi risiko atau meminimalisir dampak perubahan iklim, mereka melakukan mitigasi dengan melestarikan tanaman bambu, menanam banyak pohon di sekitar rumah, memanfaatkan bank sampah, menggunakan barang elektronik hemat energi, efisien penggunaan air dan berpartisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan penyuluhan pertanian. Implikasi penting dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperkuat partisipasi dan kapasitas petani perempuan petani kecil dalam menghadapi perubahan iklim, memungkinkan mereka untuk mengambil upaya proaktif untuk mengurangi dampak perubahan iklim terhadap kehidupan mereka. Ini juga meningkatkan kesadaran tentang pentingnya membantu petani perempuan petani kecil dalam menghadapi perubahan iklim untuk meningkatkan ketahanan pangan pedesaan.
