PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL KALE KERITING (Brassica oleracea var. acephala L.) PADA BERBAGAI KONSENTRASI PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR KULIT BAWANG MERAH

Abstract


Kale keriting (Brassica oleracea var. acephala L.) mengandung vitamin A, B1, B2, B3, dan C. Untuk hasil yang diharapkan, budidaya konvensional kale keriting memerlukan penambahan pupuk, termasuk pupuk organik. Kulit bawang merah, yang mengandung kalsium (Ca), dapat digunakan untuk membuat pupuk organik cair (POC) yang bermanfaat bagi pertumbuhan tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan pupuk organik cair kulit bawang merah terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kale keriting. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Mei-Juli di Cileunyi Kab.Bandung serta menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK), terdiri dari 7 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Konsentrasi yang digunakan yaitu: P0 (Tanpa perlakuan), P1 (70 gram kulit bawang merah/liter), P2 (85 gram kulit bawang merah/liter), P3 (100 gram kulit bawang merah/liter), P4 (115 gram kulit bawang merah/liter), P5 (130 gram kulit bawang merah/liter), dan P6 (pupuk NPK 7.5 gram). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pupuk organik cair kulit bawang merah berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman kale dan konsentrasi pupuk organik cair kulit bawang merah 100 gram/ liter tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kale.

ABSTRACT

Curly kale (Brassica oleracea var. acephala L.) contains vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, and C. For expected results, conventional cultivation of curly kale requires the addition of fertilizer, including organic fertilizer. Shallot skins, which contain calcium (Ca), can be used to make liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) which is beneficial for plant growth. This research aims to determine the effect of using shallot skin liquid organic fertilizer on the growth and yield of curly kale plants. The research was conducted in May-July in Cileunyi, Bandung Regency and used a randomized complete block design (RCBD), consisting of 7 treatments and 4 replications. The concentrations used were: P0 (without treatment), P1 (70 grams of shallot skin/liter), P2 (85 grams of shallot skin/liter), P3 (100 grams of shallot skin/liter), P4 (115 grams of shallot skin/liter), P5 (130 grams of shallot skin/liter), and P6 (7.5 grams of NPK fertilizer). The results showed that the treatment of shallot skin liquid organic fertilizer had a significant effect on the growth of kale plants and the concentration of shallot skin liquid organic fertilizer of 100grams/liter had no significant effect on the growth and yield of kale plants.
